Kate graduated with a first class degree in Education in 2014, starting the business as a sole tutor in 2018 before successfully expanding it into a thriving centre supporting many students. She has a particular interest in 11+ preparation and is passionate about helping children achieve their goals and build confidence. Kate prides herself on maintaining the highest standards of teaching and carefully selecting quality tutors, ensuring every student receives exceptional support and guidance.
Heather is a dedicated KS1 specialist with extensive experience supporting young learners in building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. As Centre Manager, she combines her passion for education with excellent leadership, ensuring a nurturing, well-structured learning environment where every child feels confident and supported. Heather is committed to helping each pupil develop a love of learning and reach their full potential.
Rachel is our Centre Manager with a strong commitment to supporting students and families. She oversees the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring high standards of teaching, organisation, and care. Rachel is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment where students feel motivated, supported, and confident in their learning journey.
Amy is a dedicated KS1 and KS2 tutor with a passion for helping children build confidence and achieve their potential. She provides engaging, supportive lessons tailored to each pupil’s needs, helping them develop strong skills across the curriculum. Amy is committed to making learning enjoyable while encouraging steady progress and a positive attitude towards learning.
Michael is an experienced KS2 and KS3 tutor with a particular interest in mathematics. He is passionate about helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and develop strong problem-solving skills. Michael delivers clear, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, supporting students to make consistent progress and achieve their full potential.
Mandie is a results-driven KS2 specialist with a strong focus on mathematics, 11+ preparation, and SATs support. She is passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve their academic goals. With a proven track record of student progress, Mandie delivers engaging lessons that challenge and motivate, ensuring every pupil makes steady progress.
We use a small group approach, with a maximum of 4 students for Key Stage 1 and 6 students for Key Stage 2. Parents and their child are invited to attend our centre for an initial assessment, conducted in line with the current National Curriculum. During this time, parents leave their child with us and return to pick them up at the end of the session.
The initial assessment is free of charge for Key Stage 2 students. However, for Key Stage 1 students, the assessment is conducted on a one-to-one basis with a tutor and is therefore chargeable.
Based on the outcome of the assessment, we will recommend a service that best supports the child’s individual learning needs and goals. Although sessions are delivered in small groups, each lesson is tailored to the unique needs of every child. We re-assess all students each term to monitor progress and ensure our lesson plans continue to align with their evolving learning objectives.
