Our Key Stage One tuition groups are made up of no more than 4 students, we help early learners to build confidence in: phonics, early reading, writing and number skills. These small, focused groups are designed to boost confidence, improve basic literacy and numeracy skills, and support a positive attitude towards learning.
We also offer one-to-one support for pupils in Key Stage One. Most often, this is considered when the student has significant gaps in their knowledge, or struggles to concentrate within a group setting.
Our special Reception tuition offer includes a block of discounted one-to-one sessions, tailored specifically for early learners to build confidence in phonics, early reading, writing, and number skills.
As part of this package, you’ll also receive a guaranteed place in one of our small group tuition sessions once your one-to-one block is complete ensuring a smooth and supportive transition to group learning.
This offer runs each September for new Reception students.
We can cover areas such as; phonics, handwriting, spelling and numeracy, dependent on your child’s needs.
We use a small group approach of no more than 4 students.
We invite parents and their child to attend our centre for a free initial assessment in line within the current National Curriculum. Depending on the outcome of the assessment we will recommend a service which meets their individual learning needs and goals. We do offer 1-1 tuition for children who we feel would benefit from this type of tuition.
We use a small group approach, with a maximum of 4 students for Key Stage 1 and 6 students for Key Stage 2. Parents and their child are invited to attend our centre for an initial assessment, conducted in line with the current National Curriculum. During this time, parents leave their child with us and return to pick them up at the end of the session.
The initial assessment is free of charge for Key Stage 2 students. However, for Key Stage 1 students, the assessment is conducted on a one-to-one basis with a tutor and is therefore chargeable.
Based on the outcome of the assessment, we will recommend a service that best supports the child’s individual learning needs and goals. Although sessions are delivered in small groups, each lesson is tailored to the unique needs of every child. We re-assess all students each term to monitor progress and ensure our lesson plans continue to align with their evolving learning objectives.
