Concept days are themed learning sessions that focus on developing specific academic skills through interactive activities, problem solving and hands-on learning. Each day is planned to be curriculum based and supportive for different learning styles. They typically run 9am – 3pm delivered by qualified tutors.
Designed for students sitting 11+ exams, includes mock exams and interview preparation followed by tailored feedback.
Our Ready Set school programme prepares young learners for their transition to school. They learn essential skills for school life and build on numeracy and literacy skills.
Halloween, Easter and Summer outdoor learning days encourage teamwork, leadership and problem solving skills through structured outdoor activities.
Fractions made simple and enjoyable! Aimed to strengthen and challenge fraction knowledge ultimately building confidence in topics deemed tricky.
A Harry Potter themed day including a Potion making workshop and sorting ceremony along with Maths based activities to develop maths skills.
We use a small group approach, with a maximum of 4 students for Key Stage 1 and 6 students for Key Stage 2. Parents and their child are invited to attend our centre for an initial assessment, conducted in line with the current National Curriculum. During this time, parents leave their child with us and return to pick them up at the end of the session.
The initial assessment is free of charge for Key Stage 2 students. However, for Key Stage 1 students, the assessment is conducted on a one-to-one basis with a tutor and is therefore chargeable.
Based on the outcome of the assessment, we will recommend a service that best supports the child’s individual learning needs and goals. Although sessions are delivered in small groups, each lesson is tailored to the unique needs of every child. We re-assess all students each term to monitor progress and ensure our lesson plans continue to align with their evolving learning objectives.
